RhB WR 3813
1928

December 12, 1928. Delivery to the Bernina Railway (BB) as Mitropa dining car B4ü 161 by Wagonsfabrik Schlieren. The final inspection took place on January 15, 1929. A converted freight car (X31) was used as the kitchen.
1939
Used on the Rhaetian Railway (RhB) and Bernina Railway (BB) networks as a command car for the army staff during World War II. The B4ü 161 was used, among others, by General Henri Guisan for troop visits.
1942
End of its use as a dining carriage on the Bernina Railway (BB).
1944
Transport of the carriage body to Berlin (Germany) to Mitropa's factory. Installation of the kitchen and conversion into a dining car. Return transport to Switzerland. It's almost inconceivable that the carriage survived this transport to and from Berlin during World War II.
1949
Transfer and redesignation as Dr4ü 13 to the Rhaetian Railway. Installation of new bogies. The dining car is now used on the RhB's main network.
1956
Renamed WR 3813.
1969
Installation of new FFA bogies with brake gear for use on the Glacier Express to Andermatt.
1987
Discarding.
1990
Sold to the Furka Cogwheel Steam Railway (DFB). The carriage will not be used and will be stored in Balsthal.
1997
The Rhaetian Railway bought it back as a historic vehicle. Plans to restore the carriage for nostalgic journeys were abandoned due to the poor condition of the carriage body.
2010
Partial demolition of the carriage body on March 12, 2010. The kitchen compartment and the office are preserved and transferred to the Albula Railway Museum as an exhibition object.
2021
On the initiative of Patrick Bigler (SWS), Fredy Pfister (Club 1899) and the Historic RhB Foundation, the carriage fragment was transferred from the Albula Railway Museum to Schlieren on March 29, 2021 and is now back in its place of origin.
